I was born and brought up in the North London area, going to school in Hampstead then medical school at St Bartholomew's Hospital. I lived in Highbury then Stamford Hill before moving to Devon to do GP training after house jobs.

The last few months of GP training were at Pembroke House, at the end of which I joined the practice as an additional partner (1983).

At the same time I accepted a part-time post as clinical assistant at Rowcroft Hospice and have enjoyed working there ever since.

I enjoy the variety of general practice and like the traditional role of the doctor as a friend and supporter of the patient. Apart from the clinical work, my aptitude for figures helps run the financial side of the practice!

My interests include music, walking and family pursuits (four children!). We also have a yellow Labrador!

All partners provide contraception, maternity care and domicillary visiting.
